The team of lads were great, professional and kept everywhere clean and tidy throughout the job. Very happy with end result. Also took away all of the old fire and fireplace, which a lot of companys these days just leave you to deal with it

We had a utility room/kitchen extension with an added wet room area built onto the side of our house by ALC Building Co. We are absolutely delighted with the result, it exceeded our expectations, and are extremely grateful for the enthusiasm, knowledge and professionalism shown by Tosh. Another builder we contacted before we met Tosh told us we couldn’t have a vaulted ceiling AND move the gas boiler flue. Wrong, we have a vaulted ceiling and the boiler flue moved! Tosh made suggestions that absolutely improved the project and guided us patiently through the process. A tip: contact Tosh at the very start of your project and use an architect recommended by him, and also use a private building inspector, again recommended by Tosh. It will save you heartache and potentially time and money. Also, if there are any hitches along the way Tosh remains calm and reassuring and always comes up with a solution. ALC liaises with other excellent professionals: bricklaying, Mally; electrical services, from Luke’s men; plumbing from John; and joinery, from roof timbers through to installing the kitchen units, from Dave. Tosh’s ALC team are second to none, all very friendly (it helps if you support Hartlepool United!) and supportive, in their aim to provide a top-class professional service for your project. From digging the foundations to putting that final piece of skirting board on. Thank you, Carl, there on day one, right through to the final day. Special mention for Jonny, an absolute human dynamo, that man can turn his hand at anything. Absolute perfectionist, whether plastering, or tiling. We highly recommend ALC for any building project without any reservation.

We had a media wall built in our front room by the team at ALC Building Co., from start to finish the team were brilliant, Tosh is fantastic at being able to pull everything together on time and with an immaculate end product, we’re very impressed and happy with our media wall it’s exactly how we imagined it. We’d definitely recommend ALC and Tosh and the team and would certainly be going back to them for any future modification works in our home!

We needed an internal wall removing and after searching for a little while we found ALC. They came out to see the job and helped in the design of how the room would end up and gave lots of great advice to make the job as cost effective as possible. They were very tidy and respectful of our home and I would definitely recommend ALC and will be using them for our next job!

ALC saved my bacon after I used a cheap building firm they left me with a structural mess regarding rsj work So ALC sorted out three beams and saved my house by straightens a wonky rsj and putting in padstones I'm so grateful they helped and for all the extra free help and consultancy they offered me regarding my house In two months I have an extention planned and will go straight too the professionals over any other cowboys Can't rate them highly enough for there class, professionalism. Had fence and gate replaced by Antony and a colleague. Super quick friendly service, nothing was a problem. Workmanship is second to none, so would not hesitate to use again. Really happy with the finished product, excellent quality and finish. Thank you very much lads! ????

After searching around high and low and many many enquiries, we found ourselves at ALC's doorstep, we were desperately in need of advice (the right advice) and the work carried out, Tony didn't hesitate or waste time like alot of tradesmen in Hartlepool, came over gave us a extremely reasonable quote and time frame, while our work wasnt for a house, it was to build a wall for our bar, nonetheless Tony and the guys are very good at their respective crafts, extremely helpful and Tony (the gaffer) genuine genuine man, we'll go above and beyond to help and find solutions, from our behalf anyone wishing to use ALC building services shouldn't worry or even doubt what they can carry out, there used to be a hole behind that wallpaper, it's unrecognisable now!!!
